I'm looking form information on my great-grandfather Rev. Joseph E. KNIGHTEN (as spelled on his headstone. I think he was born in MS on November 22, 1832. He moved to Louisiana prior to Tx and worked as an overseer on a plantation. He was affiliated with the Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church of Christ. He was married to Margillar H. (MOSLEY) KNIGHTON (as spelled on her headstone). My family's name was spelled KNIGHTON. Margillar was born on October 25, 1840. I'm not sure where. They had 14 children. Some of them include: William Lee KNIGHTON (my grandfather), Ida KNIGHTON Russell, Fannie KNIGHTON Mitchell, Molly KNIGHTON (Bedell), Eliga, Lige KNIGHTON and numerous others that my family can't remember. I have no info on the MOSLEY family. If anyone has information they can share with me I could really appreciate it.
