I am researching my grandmother's family. One of her sisters, Hattie Rebecca Wilkins (9/15/1850-11/6/1929) married Sanford Green Smith on 1/27/1874 in Russell County, ALabama. They migrated to Texas via Clarksville, Arkansas, and are buried in Bradfield chapel Cemetery in morris County. Any information would be appreciated. They had five children, so someone must still be around there.

I am seeking information on Jessee Moon who was born about 1822 in TN and moved to Cass County Texas in the early 1840's and married Mary H. (born about 1833 in ALA). We believe that he moved to Morris county after 1850 as he was still in the Cass County Census then, but not by 1860. We have also discovered some land records for Morris county that we believe to be his. Suspect that he is the brother of James W. Moon of Cass/Titus county. any leads appreciated.

I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of Maggie Mae Hood. She was born 9 July 1877 in Cason, Morris Co. or Leesburg, Camp Co. She married Edd Sloan abt. 1896. The only information I have on any siblings of Maggie is that she had a brother named Wendell. According to information I received from the Social Security Administration, her parents were Elvie Hood and Lizzie Daniel. On her death certificate, her mother's name is Elizabeth McDaniel. Looking for the parents (don't know their names) of Milton A Doss who was born In 1872 in Tx. and His sister Fanny (ie) who was born in Tx. in 1870. I found Milton and his wife and his sister in the 1900 census in Morris county but cannot find his mom or Dad. Milton died within the next 2 years (approximately). Hello. I am researching my LINDSAY side of the family. The farthest I have gotten is my Great-Grandfather, Sidney Tipton Lindsay. He was born in 1878, in Daingerfield Texas and died in 1918 from the Flu, also in Tx. He was married to Savanna Martin, aka Anna or as the grandkids called her Mimi. She was b in 1899 in Alabama. They had 2 Children Jack Willis Lindsay and Russell Logan Lindsay. Sidney was a Farmer and during the time of of Jack's birth, they lived near Cumby Texas.. not sure where that is. He apparently had several hundred acres in Cass Co. His son, John G. (my g-gpa) moved to south Texas sometime later, raising his family in Sutton & Edwards Counties.

I am looking for information about William Riley Lamb in Morris County, TX. He was on the 1880 census of Morris County, ED 96, Sheet 13A. He moved to Bowie County, TX by 1890 and was in the Seminole Nation of Indian Territory on the 1900 census. I haven't been able to find him on the census in 1910, but he is back in Bowie County, TX by 1920. His wife was named Mary Stafford and he had three children on the Morris County 1880 census: Julia A. born abt 1875 Donia Caladonia born 19 Feb 1877, married Robert Samuel Shaw John A.
