Searching for information on Dollie BURCHFIELD or BIRCHFIELD b. ca 1898 m. Argyle (orgle) BULLOCK Dec. 14, 1917 Wood Co TX. They had two sons: # 1 Melvin A. BULLOCK b. 9-4-1918; # 2 Winston BULLOCK, b. July 1919. Winston was killed in accident (believed to have been in Houston Tx or Calif.) about 1938 or 1939. Dollie died 1988 in San Bernardino Co. CA. Believe Melvin A. BULLOCK lives in Yucca Valley Ca but unable to locate. I am Melvin's half brother and lost contact in 1992. SMITH, DANIEL, FLANAGAN Looking for information on Amanda D. SMITH who married Joseph (Joe) Knight DANIEL, son of William J. and Mary Ann FLANAGAN DANIEL, in Wood County on December 12, 1880. The SMITH family moved from Claiborne Parish, LA to Texas about 1875. Name of mother and father unknown. Mother died when she was young. Father remarried and her step mother was named Martha. Her half brothers and sister were as follows: Richard SMITH (1861), James SMITH (1864), Allen SMITH (1866) and Martha SMITH (1871). All were born in Louisiana. According to family members, most of the family ended up in Hawkins, and some entered the banking business. Joseph (Joe) Knight DANIEL and Amanda D. SMITH DANIEL settled in Pine Mills and raised a family. Their children were F. Elizabeth (Lizzie) DANIEL (1881), John Allen DANIEL (1882), Horace DANIEL (1891) and Pearl DANIEL (1895). Both Joseph (Joe) and Amanda SMITH DANIEL died in 1943 and are buried at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Pine Mills.

Trying to locate information on Edward REEVES, b. abt. 1810, known to have lived in Hopkins County according to his son's birth certificate (Edmond Walter Reeves) b. 1874 and the 1870 Census Records for Hopkins County. He was married to Parthenia (Gilland) b. abt. 1836, had a daughter Sarah E. b. abt 1869. and son Charlie Wesley b. in 1872. Edward died sometimes in the 1870's and Parthena remarried a man with the last name WHITE. Possibly Joseph. They had a daughter. Reeves owned property in Hopkins county at the time the Census was taken.

He married Tressie Vela DOYLE in Wood Co., TX on July 17,1921. Albert Carmon's father was James Mortimor NICKOLS born April 2, 1862 in Missouri and died March 24, 1942 in Wood Co., TX. James was married to Lucy Ann WILEY who was born in 1852 and died May 28, 1938 in Wood Co., TX. Albert Carmon had a brother: James Mortimor Nickols, Jr. I am also looking for information about my uncle: Carmon Junior NICKOLS. Seek information regarding Levica HICKEY and husband, Robert "Bob" T/F. KNIGHT. Robert KNIGHT reportedly born in Paris, Lamar Co., TX. Need parents of Robert T/F. KNIGHT. Need information regarding family of Levica HICKEY. Her father, Baron DeKalb HICKEY married several times after the death of first wife, Mary Elizabeth BOOKOUT, ca 1882/84. One of his later wives, name unknown, is supposed to have stayed in Texas with son, Frank HICKEY, after divorce from B. D. HICKEY. Frank HICKEY's death is supposed to have occured 24 Jun 1894, in Texas, location unknown. The only clue to a locality in Texas is the birthplace of Robert KNIGHT. Would be interested in corresponding with anyone who could help identify the mother of Frank HICKEY and assist with documentation of B. D. HICKEY's Texas residence, 1892-1900.

Johann Peter REICH (John Peter) (1808-1883) was born in the Moravian Community of Friedberg, present day Forsyth County, North Carolina. He married Lydia M. LOCKENOUR (some sources say PRIEST) (1813-1881) in the 1830s, probably in Kentucky or Indiana. They were the parents of ten known children, including three sets of twins. The first three children were born in Indiana and the remaining seven children in Itawamba County, Mississippi. In c1852 the family moved to the present day area of around Quitman, Wood County, Texas where John Peter REICH and his wife Lydia died and are buried at the Turner Cemetery, at Redlands. The first child was Rhodes P. REICH (b. c1832? in IN) of whom nothing is known. The second child was Melissa Elizabeth REICH (1838-???) who married William (Gottleib?) APEL (1823-1898) in 1858 in Wood County, TX. They had at least four children, the eldest, Hiram, was sheriff of Quitman (or Wood County?) for many years. The third child, Maria E. REICH (1838-???) married Joseph Ellis PINSON, probably in Wood County. They raised a family of at least six children and lived in Wood County. The fourth child, Louisa Rebecca REICH (1840-1912) married James Franklin MARTIN (1835-1899). They lived in Wood County and had at least nine children. The fifth child, Louesa Amelia REICH (1840-1912) married Dr. James Davis TURNER (1806-1880) and then twice more. She and James are buried at Turner Cemetery. They had seven known children. The sixth child was James Henry REICH (1844-1906) who married Mary Elizabeth HENDRIX (1841-1890) in 1867 at Wood County and Fannie M. FERGUSON WRIGHT (1853-???) in 1891 at Wood County. James had six children. James and Mary are buried at the Concord Cemetery in Wood County. The seventh child was John W. REICH (1846-???) who married Nancy GILBREATH (1834-???). They had four known children and are buried at Concord Cemetery. The eight child was Benjamin REICH (1846-???), of whom nothing is known. The ninth child is Joshua Tumor REICH (1848-1941) who married Susan Ann WIGGINS (1852-1920) and lived in Wood County and are buried at Turner Cemetery. They had five children. The tenth and final child was Sarah Jane REICH (1850-1931) who married Leander (Lee) Andrew WHITE (1850-1926) in 1871 in Wood County. They too are buried at Turner Cemetery. They had six known children.
