My great grandfather, ALFRED HASKIN, according to family records, worked for a CHOLSON Wire Company, who had a contract for fencing railroad right of ways around the north Texas area. Accoding to records, he was taken ill in July of 1890. His wife was sent for and arrived just before he died July 26, 1890. Seeking further information on the Cholson company and a record of Alfred Haskin's burial. My information says he was buried in Mineola. M. Looking for information on William Franklin MOORE of Wood County. Married Amanda GRICE, b. 1851 in Pike County Georgia, and father of several children - Vealie, f; Doc Oliver, John; Iller; and William Frank Moore, b. March 12, 1882. I believe William Franklin Moore died in Wood County after this date of March 12, 1882. Since his son William Frank bears most of his name and he had several other children, I assume he died several years later in Wood County.

I am searching for descendants of a Samuel L. HOUSTON, who came to Texas between 1850 and 1860 where he appears on the 1860 Census in Titus Co., then in 1870 in Wood County, where he apparently died before 1880. Samuel L. Houston was the son of Archibald C. Houston and Rosanna Stephenson, who was the son of Archibald Houston and Rosanna Cunningham who died in McNairy County, TN.. I am descended from Archibald Houston's son David Houston and Rosanna Cunningham who also came to Texas.
