Game 1 - Winters at Winters: The Coleman High School Bluecats broke a 14 game losing streak after defeating Winters, 14 to 13. Draven Dela Garza set a new CHS record, with a 60-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Very few fumble returns are carried back this far as defensive players are not normally fast enough to return fumbles for a touchdown. The only other known fumble return for a touchdown over 50 yards was made by Francis McKaughn against Ballinger in 1925 and this was for 50 yards. |
