Ordered by the court that the report of the jury of reviewers appointed to
review a road leadig from the town of Fairfield in direction of Palestine by way
of Wortham’s Ferry be received.

Ordered by the Court that the Tyus road be changed so as to intersect Wortham
Ferry road about a half mile East of Waldom’s

Ordered by the Court that the report of the survey of the County line between
Freestoe and Limestone Counties by B. P. Hammett be received.
4.
Ordered by the Court that the accont of B. P. Hammett, for services rendered in
surveying the County line between Freestone and Limestone Counties be received.
5.
Ordered by the Court that the Petition of John Boyed & J. B. Wortham for ferry
crossing the Trinity River at Lotts Bluff be received.
6.
Ordered by the Court that the following rates of Ferriage be allowed to Jno
Boyed and J. B. Wortham at Lotts ferry for Crossing the Trinity river: Viz.

Ordered by the Court that the jury of review appointed to review a road leading
from the Town of Fairfield, in direction to Navarro, to the County line, be
received.

Ordered by the Court that the jury of review be Continued on the Road leading
from Fairfield to Centreville and that Piece be appointed in place of W. M.
Blackman.

Ordered by the Court that the Petition for a Road leading from Parkers ferry to
intersect the Fairfield and Navarro road by way of the dwelling house of Mr.
Prater be received.
11.
Ordered by the Court that the Petition for a Road leading from Fairfield to Troy
be established the way it is now opened.
12.
The County Treasurer on a settlement with the County Court is found debtor in
the sum of twenty three dollars and eighty four cents.
13.
Ordered by the Court that the jury of review is appointed to review a Road
leading from Pine Bluffs to County line in direction to Corsicanna be received.
14.
Ordered by the Court that the resignation of James Montgomery as Assessor and
tax Collector in Freestone County be received.

Ordered by the Court that S. H. Wills be appointed Assessor and Collector of
Taxes in and for Freestone County in Place of James Montgomery resigned.

Ordered by the Court that the report of the jury of reviewers for a road leading
from Fairfield to the County line in direction to Corsicanna be received.

Ordered by the Court that Isaac Malone be appointed overseer of the road leading
from Troy to the west Bank of Brown’s Creek in place of Martin former overseer.

Ordered by the Court that the account of J. W. Collins for services rendered in
digging a well be allowed, which is fifty two dollars and fifty cents.
19.
Ordered by the Court that B. F. Linn be allowed $2.50 for Crying off the Town
lots on day of last Sales.
20.
Ordered by the Court that J. B. Wortham Joseph Linn be allowed each 1.00 for for
services rendered as Clerks on day of last sale of lots.
21.
Ordered by the Court that the account of Jno. N. Claypool for $3.00(?) for two
day services at Nov. Term of the County Court be allowed.
22.
Ordered by the Court that the account of P. D. Black for services rendered three
days ($1.50 each) at the August and November term be allowed.
23.
Ordered by the Court that the account of Chef Justice Tarver be allowed of
$13.00 for services rendered.

Ordered by the Court that Jacob Lee be appointed overseer of the road leading
from the County line of Limestone

Ordered by the Court that the petition of F. McMillan, Thos Lamb & others for a
road leading from Troy to Tihuacana Springs said road to run over the nearest
and best rout from Troy to Tihuacana Springs County line.

Ordered by the Court that the following be appointed a jury of reviews to mark
and review a road leading from Troy to Tihuacana – to County line (viz) Wilson
Burlison Wm. B. Nettle, J. S. Claypool, Wm. Watson and Nelson Lindly.

Ordered by the Court the g from Fairfield to Springfield be so changed at Caney
Creek (on the East) as to run with the line between Doct. Alegree and ________

the line between Leon and Limestone Counties between Navisota the Trinity River
And Navisota Rivers do hereby Solemnly swear that the foregoing plat and field
Notes truly describes the same saving such errors as are accidental in practical
surveying So help me God.

Survey of the South west boundary line of Freestone County and the North East
boundary of Limestone County Beginning on Stake 29 miles from the West bank of
Trinity River and 125 varas East of Sanches road on the North West boundary of
Leon County line Run by Jno. Patrick of Leon County and Completed on the 21st
day of July A. D. 1847 from which Black Jack 13 in diameter bears North 82º W.
24 varas a Post Oak 15 in diameter bears south 150 W 45 varas marked C. L.
another Post oak 9 in diameter brs N. 5º W 1.7 11/2 varas marked C. L. Thence N.
30º W Crossing the road leading from the Widow Williams along the Lee settlement
to Mr. Lambs three times thence Cross Lake Creek which bears S. W. and thence
passing through the Lee Settlement Cross a Westerly branch of Lake Creek which
bears S. E. Thence Crossing the Springfield and Pine Bluff Road about 300 varas
West of the Widow Williams and passing E. of the Presbyterian Church and passing
the Scarbro point of timber about on ½ mile west of Scarbro’s House thence
crossing Elm Creek above the Crossing of the road leading from Elisha Hobbs to

Tiwacana Hills Thence Passing about 450 yards East of Joseph
Lindsey’s and Crossing Tiwacana Creek run to a Point S. W. º 785 varas from the
N. W. Corner of R. B. Longbotham’s 21 Labore survey and suppose from the
measurement on the district surveyors map to be about 31 miles the above survey
was completed on the 29th day of October 1851.

Jefferson T. Love was in attendance on the part of Limestone County the 28th day
of Oct excepted.
I. B. P. Hammet Surveyor on the part of Freestone County appointed to run and
mark the line between Freestone & Limestone Counties do hereby solemnly swear
that the foregoing field notes correctly represent said line except such errors
as are Accidental in practial surveying So help me God – this the 17th day of
Nov 1851.
