Railways, 128 miles southwest of Texarkana, 100 miles southwest of Dallas, 245 miles northeast of Austin.  Finance: Citizens' National Bank, Peoples Guarantee State Bank.  Industry: Twelve wholesale and jobbing houses, canning factories, ice plant, gins, cotton seed oil mill, fruit package factory, iron foundry, overall and shirt factories, mattress factory, brick plant, bottling works, and cigar factory.

Whitehouse

Population in 1920: 150.  Location: On the I. & G. N. Railway, 10 miles from Tyler.  Finance: Guaranty State Bank.  Industry: Cotton.

Winona

Population in 1920: 400.  Location: On the St. L. S. W. Railway, 14 miles from Tyler.  Finance: Winona State Bank.
