Whitaker, John T.

Tyler, Texas, August 30 - Mr. John T. Whitaker, a well known nurseryman, died at his home one mile south of town last night.  Mr. Whitaker had been engaged in the nursery business for over twenty years in Tyler.

White, C. G.

Judge C. G. White, many years a leading Texas Republican, died at Tyler, of which city he was a resident forty-two years.

Williams, Nellie

The remains of Miss Nellie Williams, who died of pneumonia last last [sic] week, were brought from Tyler to Starville Monday afternoon and interred in the Starville cemetery.  The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Sam Allen and were attended by a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives.  The deceased was a sister to Mrs. Frank Slagle of this community and was once a resident here.  Her many friends grieve to give her up, and extend loving sympathy to the sorrowing family.

Yarborough, Jane

Miss Jane Yarborough, of Tyler, died at Waco last week, of measles.
