1.	William TAYLOR was born 1771 in Nash Co, NC, and died 28 MAR 1842 in Trenton, Todd Co., KY. He married Hannah DUDLEY about 1795 in Nash Co. NC. She was born 27 MAY 1777 in North Carolina, and died 13 APR 1861 in Houston Co., TX. Hannah Taylor died at the home of her son Wright Benefield Taylor near the Reynard Community, Grapeland, Houston Co., TX. Unknown if she had moved from Henderson Co., TX or was just visiting when she died. She is buried in an unmarked grave in what is known as the Taylor Cemetery, Reynard Community, Grapeland, TX near what was the Wright B. Taylor home.
	There are two possibilities for Hannah Taylor on the 1850 Census.  Most probably the Todd Co., KY census is correct since she is living next door to her son Wright B. 	Children of William TAYLOR and Hannah DUDLEY are:  i.  ii. Phebe TAYLOR  born 1796 NC. Wiley TAYLOR was born 23 DEC 1797, and died 13 DEC 1860. He married Mary "Polly" FLACK 24 OCT 1822 Todd Co., KY. She was born 28 NOV 1800, and died 5 AUG 1857.   iii. Wilson TAYLOR was born 11 NOV 1798, and died 29 JUL 1823 in Alabama.   iv. Elizabeth Ina TAYLOR was born 1 SEP 1802. She married Robert WEBB. +  v. Mary TAYLOR was born 10 OCT 1803, and died 13 JUN 1871. She married John MOORE 24 MAR 1823. He was born 5 MAY 1795, and died 1 SEP 1872.  + vi. Wright B. TAYLOR was born 9 JUN 1805, died 14 MAR 1868 Houston Co., TX.  He married America J. Halyard 1830 Todd Co., KY.  She was born 22 NOV 1810 in KY; daughter of John Halyard b. 23 NOV 1773 VA and Rebecca W. Baker born 7 MAY 1777 in VA.  + vii. Lucy Benefield TAYLOR was born 1808, and died 1 JAN 1888 in Harrison County, Texas.   viii. Rebecca TAYLOR was born 11 JUL 1810.   ix. William Taylor JR. was born 5 MAY 1812.   x. Ira Bennett TAYLOR was born 20 JUL 1814.   xi. Drewry TAYLOR was born 20 FEB 1817 in KY, and died 27 SEP 1899.   He married Elizabeth M. DUDLEY DEC 1849. She was born 22 SEP 1826, and died 1897.   xii. xiii. xiv. Catherine TAYLOR born 1818 NC. Alexander TAYLOR was 1820 NC.  He became a Doctor. Francis TAYLOR was born 1822 NC.

5. Mary TAYLOR was born 10 OCT 1803, and died 13 JUN 1871. She married John MOORE 24 MAR 1823. He was born 5 MAY 1795, and died 1 SEP 1872.

He was born 2 JAN 1800 in Virginia, and died 16 DEC 1869 in Harrison County, TX, buried Concord Cemetery, Harrison Co., TX
