In 1999 I bought my copy of "The History of Houston County" by A. A. Aldrich.  Tucked inside the book was a newspaper article from the Wichita Falls Times, Wichita Falls, Texas that appeared in the July 20, 1958 issue.

The article was written by John L. McGrew who at one time was the personal secretary to President Teddy Roosevelt.  This article describes President Roosevelt's trip to Texas in 1905 with pictures and names of many Texans during that time in Texas History.
