KATHERINE IRENE RIGSBY, 89, was born September 26, 1914 in Freestone County, Texas, and passed from this life on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Rigsby. She is survived by: sister, Bessie Mackey of Mexia, Texas; brother, Dewey Mathison of Kerrville, Texas; children: Kathy Tinnin of Houston, Texas, Rita Mann of League City, Texas, Billie Sue Rigsby of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Bill Rigsby, and Ricky Rigsby, both of New Orleans, Louisiana; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bay Area Christian School or the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be at Jack Rowe Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Bay Area Baptist Church.
