Mainord Services Held Tuesday
Funeral service were held Tuesday, July 17, 1979 at the Lawrence Funeral Home in Teague for Mrs. Gertrude Mainord, 86, Bro. Dwight Atchley officiated over the services with interment in the Dew Cemetery.
Mrs Mainord was born March 25, 1893 in Arkansas. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Churc. She died in the Teague General Hospital on Sunday, July 15, 1979 at the age of 86.
Survivors include: one son, Willard Mainord, Louisville, Kentucky; Three sisters: Mrs. Emma Atchley, Dew; Mrs. Amsie Colson, Corpus Christi and Mrs. Ada Hartley, Dew; one brother, Elder Emmett White, Jacksonville, Texas.
Pallbearers were: Henry White, Sid Atchley, Henry Colson, Lester Lane, Donald Hartley, Jack Pendergrass. Honorary Pallbearer was Delmer Hall.
Lawrence Funeral Home of Teague was in charge of all arrangements.
