Norma Granberry
Funeral services were held Sunday in Fairfield for Norma Granberry, 88, of Fairfield who died Friday, June 28, 1996 in Fairfield.
Mrs. Granberry was born September 20, 1907 in Freestone County.She had worked as a nurse's aide and was a member of Fairfield Christian Center.
Services were conducted at 3 p.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Eston Turner and Joe Paul Granberry officiating.
Special music was provided by singer and organist Sarah Jo Childs, who sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Where the Rose Never Fades."
Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers included Cam Manahan, Jerry Nemec, Allie Ivison, Jimmy Sherver, Johnny Childs and Kurk Randall.
Mrs. Granberry is survived by a daughter-in-law, Katy Donaldson of Lake Charles, La.; and five grandchildren, Martha Scott of West Monroe, La.; Carolyn Veron and Charles Donaldson, both of Lake Charles, La.;Wanda Goodeau of Lafayette, La.; and Gary Donaldson of Austin, Tx.
Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield, TX.
