NOTES: 1860 Census Series: M653 Roll: 1294 Page: 383 enumerates George F. Allison as a school teacher. George F. Allison, buried in Cotton Gin Cemetery, his headstone reads: CSA Means Co. 19th Brig TX Mil. Nancy died of Typhus Fever in 1862, t is assumed she is buried in Cotton Gin Cemetery as no headstone survives. The full name and birth places of the Allisons and their children are written in a Moody Bible from Eureka Laviga Allison Moddy's descendants. Nannie Bird Allison Brooks celebrated her 79th birthday in Denton, TX John F, D K, Eureka, and of Course Nannie Bird attended the party.
