Antelope Cemetery
GPS coords: 33.86897, -101.09865.South of Dougherty, access to the site is entirely on paved roads. This is an obviously abandoned cemetery. There is no evidence of maintenance around individual markers nor are there recent graves. It is in an unfenced corner of an intersection, not-quite-reached by a center-pivot irrigation. It is badly overgrown by weeds and there is trash from farming activities. I photographed the few markers I could see (Feb 2015). There are clearly changes since the 2007 photo on Find A Grave. Aside from the near-dominance of tumbleweeds, the stone tree monument shown in that photo has toppled.
