Sometime between 1916 and 1923, the dwelling at
507 West Walnut Street was built, with the lot being split off from the
west side of the lot on which 300
(later 500) South Neches Street was located. There was a second
dwelling located on the southwest corner, addressed as 507 1/2 West Walnut
Street, which had been addressed as 300 1/2 South Neches Street
in 1916.
