A map of 1888 shows a partial view of the dwelling located at which faced east and was addressed as 17 South Neches Street.  This dwelling appears to have been a small house, with the front porch across the east side.  By 1916, the dwelling had been removed or remodeled into a larger home.  By 1898, it appears the dwelling was enlarged again and by 1904 it was again enlarged with larger porches added on the east and west sides.  Other sheds and a small dwelling were also located on the property, being noted as a "Servant's House" by 1916.

This location became adddressed as 103 South Neches Street by 1916, and 216 South Neches Street by 1930.  This location had a second address of 201 West College Avenue as early as 1888, which had been changed to 502 West College Avenue by 1923, and 500 West College Avenue by 1930.  It does not appear that the West College Avenue address was used until the dwelling was removed and a new house built in 1982, which was addressed as 500 West College Avenue.

It is not known when the large old struction was torn down, but it appears that it was addressed as 216 South Neches Street until the time of its removal.  When a new house was built at this location it was addressed at 500 West College Avenue.
