In 1929, the Pool Apartments were located on the second story above these businesses on South Concho Street:

100 - W. H. Sackett , Grocer  (this store had entrances at 201 West Pecan Street and 100 South Concho Street)

102 - Strong Electric Shop

106 - Jolly's Shoe Shop

108 - Commercial Printing Company

110 - Pool The Tailor


In 1956, a fire broke out in the dry cleaning shop of Pool The Tailor, gutting both floors of much of the building.

Following the fire, the building was leveled, and the drive through bank of the First Coleman National Bank was later built on this quarter block.
