in Brownwood during the early 1990's and was living in Georgetown from
at least 2005. He was married and had children.) |

Faye
Lynn Needham Gartman, age 62, of Flower Mound, passed away Friday
morning, January 29, 2010. Funeral services will be held
Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at noon in the chapel at Mulkey-Mason
Funeral Home, Lewisville. Private burial will be at the Flower
Mound Cemetery.
Faye was born March 10, 1947 in Dallas to Vance W. Needham and Gladys Bandy Needham. Her family moved to Coleman, Texas in 1958 where she graduated from Coleman High School in 1965. Just prior to graduation, Faye began a stellar career with Life Insurance Company of the Southwest, where she attained the position of vice-president of operations. She retired in 2006 after 41 years with the company. Faye loved to travel and play golf. Her family was her most important priority. She was a loving wife, an exceptional mother, and the best “Nenna” anyone could ask for. Her love of life, selflessness and friendly demeanor will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Faye was preceded in death by her parents and brother Don Paul Needham. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Earl Gartman; son Lex Gartman and wife Emily of Aledo; daughter Sheila Layne and husband Jason of Fort Worth; grandchildren Olivia and Grant Gartman; sisters Mary Ann Hartman of Brownwood, Della McGuire of Irving, and Laura LeMay of Coleman; brother Marc Needham of Dallas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
