Bessie Adian, 79

Graveside services for Bessie Adian, 79, of Plano were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Plano Mutual Cemetery, under the direction of Ted Dickey Funeral Home of Plano.  She died Thursday, August 24, 1995.

Mrs. Adian was born August 27, 1915 in Pilot Point, Texas.

Survivors include sons; James Kennith Adian and his wife Glenda of Plano, Joe Frank Adian of Blue Island, Illinois; daughters: Rita Lorene Vickery and her husband Buddy of Longview, Martha Faye McCarty and her husband Ross of Yukon, Oklahoma; 10 brothers and sisters, including Bill, Carl and Alvie Stoup and Mrs. Ruby Watters, all of Coleman County; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Vicky Diann Phillips, 43

Vicky Diann Phillips, age 43, of Coleman, died at 3:38 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 1995 in Coleman County Medical Center.  Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, at Walker Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Gary Boyd, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Coleman City Cemetery, under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.

Born February 27, 1952 in Olney, Texas, she was the daughter of A. C. "Dago" Alexander and Vivian McCullough.  On March 9, 1976, she married Darrell Phillips in Altus, Oklahoma.  She lived most of her life in Coleman, where she was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Chad Allen Davis, and her mother, Vivian McCullough Alexander.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Phillips of Coleman; three daughters, Kathreyn Diann Phillips of Coleman, a student at Tarleton State University, Crystal Wolfley of England, and Karla Chrentas of Prescott, Arizona; her father, A. C. "Dago" Alexander of Coleman; a sister, Nancy Helms of Coleman; a brother, Roy Alexander of Dallas; and three grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Big Country, 3909 S. 7th Street, Abilene, Texas 79605.

Pallbearers were Mack Anderson, Hollis Waddle, Philip Walker, Jarvis George, Russell Johnson and John Roberts.
