THE FRANK LEE SNODGRASS FAMILY

Frank Lee Snodgrass was the son of David, born November 4, 1829 and Elmira (Holford) Snodgrass, born December 27, 1837 (see Dr. J. G. Pope).  Frank L. was a brother of Mary (Snodgrass) Dibrell (see Joseph Burton Dibrell).  He married Gussie Tate Hall, June 27, 1862 - March 19, 1900.  Her mother, Eliza Hall, died December, 1899.  After his wife’s death, Frank L. married second Bertha Cameron.  Children of Frank L. and Gussie were:
(1) David, April 18, 1889, married Claybelle Leeper.  Their one son, Frank Lee, died in service in World War II.

(2) Frankie, April 23, 1891, married Sig Sedwick.  Their one son, Robert, served USA World War II.

(3) Irene, May 30, 1893, married Leslie Allen, had one son Frank (see George Henry Allen).

(4) Gussie, August 29, 1895, married Howard Samuel, had one son, Howard.

(5) Scott, December 6, 1897, married Marie.  Children, Scott and Marie.

(7) Phillip, April 26, 1899.

Frank Lee Snodgrass and his nephew, Joseph Burton Dibrell, were both attorneys and had a law firm together for many years in Coleman.

The Little family came to Coleman with the Snodgrass family.  W. J. Little, July 9, 1845 - May 9,1919; Mattie Little, May 15, 1873 - November 14, 1893; Elmira Little died May 1, 1900.  Her mother, Elmira Holford, was born September 19, 1817.
