Robert Carey Jameson, born February 10, 1918 in Coleman, son of Emmett C. and Lettie E. Jameson, a twin to Roy Emmett (killed in action in World War II) and one of eight children (see Emmett C. Jameson).  Graduate of Coleman High School, attended John Tarleton Agricultural College, Stephenville, veteran of World War II - Private to Lt. Colonel in Army Air Force, worked as Banker and Hospital Administrator.

Married Helen M. Stone in Miami, Florida, December 10, 1942, daughter of Ira D. and Eva R. Stone, born June 5, 1916 in Webb City, Missouri, moved to California with her parents at the age of 1 year.  They had three children: (1) Robert C. Jr., (died with polio August 1950). (2) Daniel V. “Danny” graduated from Schreiner Tech. College, Kerrville and is presently employed as City Secretary, City of Coleman.  Danny married Sandra Farris (see Felix Smith Sr.), daughter of A. J. and June Farris, July 1968 in Coleman.  They had three children: Michelle, Kimberly and Scott.  Scott is the only descendant to carry on the Jameson name.  (3) Frances L. “Lorrie” is a graduate of McMurry College, Abilene, and of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth - Masters Degree in Religious Education and Recreation.

A few years ago at a family meeting, brother-in-law Doyle Glasson remarked to Robert “Just look - five sisters and all talking.”  Robert remarked, “Just look - five brothers-in-law and all talking!!”
