Pascal Holland Hosch was born February 22, 1907 in Santa Anna, the youngest of eight children born to Walter James and Hesta Ann (Ayers) Hosch (see Walter J. Hosch).  Pascal (Pat) graduated from Santa Anna High School, May 20, 1924.  He and a brother, Norman, bought two gas stations in Santa Anna from W. R. Gardner in 1927, and ran the one on the east end until the winter of 1928.

Walter was a partner in Santa Anna Furniture and Undertaking Company and in August 1928, Pat and Norman traded the service station to Grady Adams for his portion of the business, changing the name of the business to Hosch Furniture and Undertaking Company.  Pat was in the business with his two brothers, Norman and Roscoe, and a sister, Lillie, until their deaths.  They jointly owned and operated Hosch Funeral Home and Ambulance Service, Hosch Furniture and Appliance, Hosch Grocery, and two stock farms totaling 1200 acres.  Pat and his wife, Jewiel, were then in a partnership with their son and his wife, Patrick and Sandra, in the Hosch Furniture Store until its closing in 1982, for a continuing total of over 50 years of service in the furniture business.  Pat married Ora Jewiel Smith, a registered nurse, August 12, 1944, while serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo (see John A. Smith).  After being stationed in San Angelo for three and one-half years, they moved back to Santa Anna.

Michael Ernest Hosch was born March 5, 1947 in Sealy Hospital in Santa Anna to Iva (Smith) and Ernest Tupin, and was named Ernest Sneed Tupin.  His mother died one month later, and he was adopted by Pascal and Jewiel Hosch, who changed his name to Michael Ernest Hosch.  Mike graduated from Santa Anna High School in 1965.  He took his basic training for the Texas National Guard at Fort Ord, California.  Mike works for Harbin Gas Gathering Company and operates a 212 acre stock farm south of Santa Anna, which he jointly owns with his father.  He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Santa Anna where he serves faithfully as the church teller and resides with his parents in Santa Anna.

Pascal Jerel Hosch was born September 8, 1951 in the Brownwood Memorial Hospital, along with his twin brother, Patrick Holland.  He graduated from Santa Anna High School in 1970, and took his basic training in the Texas Army National Guard at Fort Ord, California.  He then attended Tarleton State College in Stephenville for two years, transferring to Texas A&M University, College Station, to complete his bachelors and masters degree in finance.  Pascal married Joyce Allene Thomas January 4, 1972.  A daughter, Jill Lauren, was born September 15, 1975, in College Station.  After Pascal graduated from college, they moved to Coleman where he worked for the First Coleman National Bank.  While living in Coleman, Sam Troy was born July 11, 1978, in Brownwood Community Hospital.  Pascal moved to Tulia, where he lives with his family and is the Trust Officer and a director for the First National Bank of Tulia.  Joyce teaches high school science in the Tulia Schools.

Patrick Holland Hosch graduated from Santa Anna High School in 1970, and took his basic training in the Texas Army National Guard at Fort Ord, California.  He then attended Tarleton State College in Stephenville, for two years before transferring to Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, where he graduated and after passing his state board examinations became a licensed funeral director and embalmer.  He worked with Henderson Funeral Homes (purchased from the Hosch family in 1971) and was a partner in the business for several years.  He also was in a partnership with his father in Hosch Funiture until its closing in 1982.  Patrick then became associated with the Santa Anna National Bank where he is now employed.  Patrick married Sandra Lynn Carey, July 17, 1977.  Sandra is a licensed Physican’s Assistant employed by Dr. Morris D. Mann in Coleman.  They live at Santa Anna.  Patrick spent several years, while associated with the funeral home, teaching Emergency Medical Technician’s courses, and is still licensed by the State of Texas as a Course Coordinator.  They have a son, Bryan Paul, born July 9, 1982.  They are members of the First Baptist Church in Santa Anna and are both active in church work.
