Smith), two daughters: Brenda, married Mike Lagow (see Rae), and Malinda married Charlie ?, has one daughter; (b) Barbara married a Gorman and, soon after her marriage, was killed in a car-train wreck; (1b) Arvis died in 1950 in Louisiana in an accident; (1c) Zenobia and (1d) Bailey, both died in their teens; (1e) Cherry June married and has a son and daughter.

(2) Frederick Keifer (Fred) married Octavia Miller.  Their children:  Hazel, married a Maloney, two sons; Verba married a Culpepper; Mary Faye; Maurine and twin girls, Marjorie, (her sister died in infancy).  Octavia died and Fred married Letha ? and had two children: F. W. (Bill), lives in California, and Frances, lives in Missouri.

(6) Stella Johanna married Raymond Cox (see R. A. Cox).

(7) Bernice Adolph married an English girl in San Antonio and they had two daughters.  (Update about the family of Bernice Adolph Hill, from Katy Meador, Junction, Texas, May 2006:  Bernice Adolph "Jack" Hill, born about 1899, did marry an English girl.  Her name was Barbara Alice Bradshaw Swanwick, she was born on the Isle of Man, England.  They had two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hill, born December 27, 1923 (my mother), married Walter Richard Hegwer of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Geraldine Hill, date of birth unknown, married Robert Walstrom.  Mary Elizabeth had five children: daughter (oldest child) Barbara Elizabeth Hegwer, (youngest child) Kathryn Belva Hegwer Meador; three sons: Raymond Dudley Hegwer, Donald Gerald Hegwer and Jack Richard Hegwer.  All five are residents of Texas and have families of their own scattered throughout Texas.)
