Frederick Ford Haynes was born June 12, 1908 (see Elmer Haynes).
He helped his father farm and at times worked as a driller with the oil
business. He attended school at Mukewater and Trickham. He
married Lola Ilene Bowden, born February 5, 1911 at Santa Anna, daughter
of Carrol Jackson and Lillie Mae (Miller) Bowden, on June 17, 1928 (see
Bowden and Laughlin). They lived at first on the Bowden place, then
bought 279 acres from his father, Elmer, in 1939, located two miles from
Trickham. Fred lived on this farm and worked it until his death,
May 9, 1980, buried at Trickham. He raised Hereford cattle and did
cultivation and stock land for their living. He was a member of the
Trickham Methodist Church.
They raised four children, a twin daughter, Louise Ray died at birth,
March 2, 1932. All were born at Santa Anna.
Reba Fay, January 20, 1930, married Elvis Ray Cozart (born September
31, 1927 at Trickham), August 14, 1948 at Trickham. Elvis is the
son of John Etoile and Evelyn Erma (Harvey) Cozart. Their children
are Philip Donovan, Grethryn Fay, and Linda Louise.
Lois Gay, March 2, 1932, married Frank Joy Wallace, December 23, 1951.
Their children are Deboran Elaine, James Fred, and Billy Edward.
Jerry Fred, August 19, 1942, married Donna Marie Rowe (born August 15,
1945 at Coleman, daughter of John Wesley and Mary (Garrett) Rowe) June
22, 1963 at Coleman. Their children are Davey Fred, Macbelle Marylene,
and Britt Lee.
Billy Don, August 11, 1946, married first, Jamie Estes, August 16, 1969
at Brookesmith. Their son, Justin Allen was born November 22, 1970.
He married second Carol Chorn, July 1, 1977. Carol has a son, Tim
Kotrla by a previous marriage.
Ilene still lives on the farm at Trickham.
