     Edward Ingram Bedell, February 25, 1860-1944, was born in Georgia.  His father, Edward Pennalton Bedell was killed in the Civil War and his mother remarried after the war to a Laws.  His grandfather came from France with the spelling of his surname "BeDelle."  E.I. and Nancy Louise Bailey, June 7, 1871-1966, (born in Popular Springs, Georgia) were married in Georgia June 1, 1885, and came to Bell County, Texas.  They moved to Coryell County, later Glasscock County, then in 1912, they traded places with Tim Freeman, at Talpa, and moved to the Talpa Community.  During the 1918 drought they went to Miama, Arizona for 2 years, where Bedell worked in the copper mines.  Bedell was a farmer and rancher.  His sister was married to Heck Thomas, the famous U. S. Marshall.

     E. I. and Nancy had ten children:

     (1) Mary Pauline, March 27, 1887 - 1950 in Houston, married Jess Walter of the Stacy community.

     (2) Linda Lou, February 25, 1889, married Sam Childress and she still owns two sections of the land her father homesteaded on in Glasscock County.  She makes her home with her sister, Sarah (Bedell) Bomar.

     (3) Cora Ettalee, November 8, 1890-August 27, 1956 in California, married John Ticer of Glasscock County.

     (4) Mallie Brock, March 9, 1892-1959, married Ruby Glenn Bouldin from Talpa community.

     (5) Clay Curry, June 24, 1894, now lives in Big Spring, married Stella Richardson (deceased) of Glen Cove.

     (6) Edd Ingram, April 26, 1896, now deceased, married Ollie Norris of Talpa community (see J. A. Norris).

     (7) Clara Moore, May 29, 1898, married Alvin Norris, now deceased, brother to Ollie Norris (see I. A. Norris).  Clara resides in San Angelo.

     (8) Sarah Jane, December 7, 1900, married John C. Bomar (now deceased) and lives Talpa rural (see Bomar Family).

     (9) Lovic Liman, November 19, 1902, died in Miama, Arizona, October 16, 1918, with the flu.

     (10) Walter Everett, April 30, 1908, married Lela (Barrington) Anderson of Coleman.  He resides in Coleman (see Felix Smith Sr.)
