He wrote: "John Calvin Watkins is the old man on the far left; the others I can't identify, but could be any of his children and their families. Two men have violins and John Calvin Watkins did play a violin (I have it). The men could be Nicks Watkins, Leroy Watkins, John Calvin Watkins Jr., Josiah (Joe) Watkins, and Vernon Watkins." If
