Trained at Camp Robinson, Ark. Served overseas from Mar., 1943, to Oct., 1945, in EAME Theater. Received EAME Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars, 5 Overseas Service Bars, American Defense Service Ribbon, Victory Medal. Discharged October 20, 1945.
7. A. S. Fred Anthony Lucksinger
Born January 8, 1911, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lucksinger, Route #2, Burnet, Texas; husband of Mrs. Lorna G. Lucksinger, Monahans, Texas. He is a graduate of St. Edwards, Austin, Texas. Entered service December 31, 1943, at San Antonio, Texas. Assigned to Navy, Seaman Branch. Trained at U.S. Naval Training Station, San Diego, California. He belonged to Co. 44-26 U.S.N.T.S. San Diego, Calif. Received his discharge February 8, 1944.
8. PFC Thomas Woodrow Lucksinger
Born Sept. 2, 1915, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lucksinger, Burnet, Texas, husband of Beatrice A. Lucksinger, Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of St. Edwards, Austin, Texas. Entered service Feb. 2, 1945, at Ft. Sam Houston. Assigned to Army, Armored Division. Trained at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Served overseas from August, 1945 to January 1946, in Asiatic-Pacific Area. Received Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon, Victory Medal. Discharged Jan 23, 1946.
