Mr. Parker was born and reared in Rusk county, Texas.
The family came from Georgia to Texas in 1852. He came to Athens
in 1881,
where he has lived ever since. He has a comfortable home in
Athens and a
wife and seven children. He has always been a great lover of
stock and while
he has engaged in some businesses not related to stock he
speedily drifts
back into his chosen line. He is now a regular surgeon and gives
his entire
time to its demands. His headquarters are in Athens and he
performs all
necessary operations, extracts teeth, prescribes for sick animals
and
nurses them and in all possible ways assists run down or ailing
animals,
horses or cattle, back to health and vigor. He solicits business
especially
in Henderson County, but is open to orders elsewhere, come to see
him
or write him. If you need his services. Fees reasonable. Office
at Drug
store of J. J. Powers.
