Hobart Clark Riddlesperger

Blessed with advantages far above the average and endowed with the
good sense to make the most of them Hobart Clark Riddlesperger of
Malakoff who was born in the Beck's Chapel community in Henderson
county is one of the county's native sons whose exemplary habits and
sterling qualities reflect credit upon his parents, his county and
himself. When Mr. Riddlesperger had reached the age of two years his
parents removed to Malakoff where he grew to manhood. He received
his schooling at Malakoff and at Alexander College Jacksonville, and at
Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

On completion of his school work, Mr. Riddlesperger entered service in
the First National Bank of Malakoff as assistant cashier, serving in that
capacity until January, 1922, when he succeeded to the position of
Cashier of that institution in which capacity he is at this time serving.

At an early age he became a member of the Methodist church. He is a
member of the Odd Fellow's Lodge.

While attending S. M. U. at Dallas, he was with other students drafted
for the service of his country in the World War and was in training as a
member of the S. A. T. C. when the Armistice was signed. He is a
member of the local post American Legion. He is also a member and
strong supporter of the Malakoff Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his connection with the First National Bank as cashier he
is also a member of the directing board of the institution.

Although scarcely more than a mature man in years Mr. Riddlesperger
has established himself among the substantial, conservative business
men of the county, and as such commands the esteem and respect of
all who know him.
