East Texans to Mark Golden Anniversary

ATHENS, TX (Sp) -- Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gunnels will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Sunday at their home, Route 1, Murchison, near the Opelika community,   They were married Dec. 1 1912, at Chandler.  They are natives of Henderson County and have lived in this county all of their married lives.   Their seven children will assist in receiving the guest.  They are A. C. Gunnels and Arthur Gunnels of Dallas, Mrs. Eula V. Cotten and Mrs. Willie Joe Bearden of Brownsboro, Mrs. Imogene Featherston and Mrs. Betty Lou Smith of Dallas, and Mrs. Zeffie Mae Featherston of Tyler.  Mr. and Mrs. Gunnels also have 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
