Friends Invited to Open House Honoring Couple

Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Wimberley will observe their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday, November 11, with open house at their home in
the New York community.
The couple has lived in the community all of their married life. They were married November 10, 1912 near Baxter with the Reverend Gus Callaway officiating.
The Wimberley's have four children, Mrs. L. E. Shiflet of Tyler, Mrs. Aubrey Gross, Mrs. Royall Hounsel and Karl Wimberley, all of Athens.
They also have six grandchildren.
The children and grandchildren will assist with the reception, and the friends of the family are invited to call between the hours of 2 and 5 on the
afternoon of the eleventh.
