ATHENS, Texas, April 19 -- Mr. and Mrs. J J Faulk of Athens celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a marriage ceremony at the First Methodist Church in Athens recently. His wife, known to Athenians as Miss Genie, has been an active worker in the Methodist Church for many years, and there is hardly a grown person in Athens who has not at some time or other attended Miss Genie's Sunday school class. Attendants at the wedding were old friends of the couple and earlyday members of Mrs. Faulk's Sunday school classes. The golden wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. H V Watts, pastor of the Methodist Church. |
