Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Watson Observe 60th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Watson, residents of this city for thirty-eight years, recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary here. They were married
Nov. 9, 1879, in Clay County, Alabama, by Squire Lafayette Black, father of Justice Hugo Black of the Supreme court.

All of their eight children were present for the occasion. They are Mrs. B. M. Coker, Athens; Mrs. Ed Graham, Athens; Mrs. C. L. DeBorde, Dallas;
Mrs. Leo Statner, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Carrie Pepper, O. B. Watson, George Watson and Bill Watson, all of Athens.

Mr. Watson is 80. Mrs. Watson is 78.
