L. W. Tindels Set 50th Anniversary
Athens Texas
Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Tindel will hold open house Sunday in
observance of their golden anniversary.Tindel and his wife, the
former Miss Neva Barry, are living in the same house they
returned to as bride and groom.They are lifelong members of the
Leagueville Baptist Church. Mr. Tindel, 80, is a retired stockman
and farmer and is the last of the S. F. and Josephine Tindel
family, one of the pioneer families in Henderson County.The
couple has seven sons, two daughters, fifteen grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren. The children are Zeb Tindel of
Bridgeport, Mrs. Evangel Beckham of Mount Vernon, Wash.; Seaborn
Tindel of Wilmar, Calif., Mrs. Grace Brownlow of Lubbock, Coy
Thurston Tindel of Dallas, Quentin Tindel, recently returned from
Okinawa; Bob Tindel of Chandler and John Donald Tindel of San
Gabriel.
