Directions to the Cemetery

This cemetery is located on County Road 1104 just after it makes a "Y" approximately 4/10 of a mile from Highway 19, ten miles south of Athens Texas.                The road at the "Y" that goes in a westernly route is the one that leads to the cemetery.

Modoc Cemetery is located South of Athens off of Hwy 19 on CR 1140.
Laura Gregory Roberts and her two nieces Katie and Laura walked and transcribed the Modoc cemetery 
on July  22, 2000. On October 30 2001 the information was updated.
There are several rocks and stones which appear to mark graves. I went to Modoc searching for 
the burial of my great grandma Molly Miller. I found her grave at the Miller-Lightfoot cemetery. 
I have pictures of most all the headstones with the last name of Miller that are buried at Modoc.
I would be happy to share the pictures with  their descendents.
There are markers that are hard to read the dates and info. Sorry for any errors that may have been 
made.
