Jo Frances Clark was born on May 6, 1929 in Graham, Texas. She was the daughter of Joseph William Clark and Onie Audrey Rogers. Her father preceded her in death on December 15, 1928 at Sagerton, Texas. Jo Frances grew up in Graham, Texas as an only child. Her mother never remarried. Jo Frances graduated from Graham High School in 1946 and was well liked by her friends and family. She received a B.A. degree in Geology from Texas Christian University in 1950 and worked for Humble Oil and Exxon Company, USA in Wichita Falls, Houston and Tyler. Jo Frances retired with 32 years of service as a geological advisor in 1982. She was a former member of East Texas Geological Society and a 55 year member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Jo Frances Clark Ferguson was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, an active supporter of All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, a member of All Saints Guild. Jo Frances Clark married Robert "Bob" L. Feguson who preceded her in death. |
