Andrew Horun/ Horan appears in the Young County 1860 census. He is living in the home of Young County Sheriff Ed Wolffarth. Andrew Horun / Horan is 30 years old. He was working as a stage coach conductor for the Butterfield Overland Mail and Stage Company.

The Butterfield Overland Mail and Stage Company operated from 1858 - 1861 in Young County. There were three stage stops in the county: Murphy's Station, Belknap and Cribbs Station. Stage coach records indicate a stage ran through Young County once a week.

In the 1880 Worcester County, Massachusetts census, Andrew and his wife were living in Brookfield. Andrew Horan was 59 years old and born at Ireland. He was a day laborer. His wife, Ella Horan was 55 years old and born at Ireland. They had two children:

Kate and John Horan.

By the 1900 Worcester County, Massachusetts census, Andrew was Horan was living in his daughter's family at Brookfield. His wife appears to be dead.

Andrew Horan, father-in-law, born June 1824, 75 years old, widowed, born Ireland, day laborer.

Andrew Horan came to American from Ireland in 1854. In the 1900 census, he had lived in America for 45 years.

Andrew Horan died on 31 January 1901 in Brookfield, Massachusetts at the age of 78.
