Brenham, Tex., March 12.--John B. POWERS, 80 years old, while standing on the sidewalk to-day joking with his friends, fell suddenly on the walk, and was dead before his body reached the ground. He had come from his dinner-table a few moments before. Mr. POWERS came from Alabama in 1853, and settled in this county.
