Building of the Gate
A couple of days before Christmas in 2001, Jerry Wade, grandson
of the W. T. Wade
couple buried in this cemetery, and some of his friends, Melburn
Persons & Robert Gaston,
who also had kin buried in this cemetery,installed
the new gate that Jerry had built.
Jerry is the one on the right in
the bottom picture.

yet born were: Buck Winn Wade; Herman "Pete" Elliot
Wade, and Lydia Caroline Wade. Two other children, George Willis
Wade died in 1878 at nine months old and Annie Eliza Wade died
in 1882 at three years old. Of the fifteen children, Lydia is
the only survivor at age 96 in 2001.

of Lydia Caroline (Wade) Pickens. The picture was taken in 1898
at the home of her parents, William Tinsley & Lydia Caroline
(Brazeal) Wade, in the Morence community. The Wades were the parents
of fifteen children with Lydia being the youngest.

John, who never married. In the middle
is Michael Mack "Mike" and Mary Ann Morris Robinett.
On the left is son & wife, Dee
and Alma May Simmons Robinett with their daughter,
Fannie Dee, who was born in 1898
and died in 1997.

to 1900, just before Mike died.
