Lookup Volunteers Needed
Requesting a Lookup
Some volunteers have specific instructions posted in the Volunteer Notes section. Read their notes before sending your lookup request to the volunteer. Keep in mind volunteers probably have jobs, a family to take care of, research their own genealogy and have other projects they are involved with. These volunteers are here to help you with your family history, not research your family history. This is a act of kindness, please, be respectful to the volunteer and thank them for voluntering their time to help you.
When contacting a lookup volunteer be specific as possible. Give them names, dates, timeframe, and other helpful information when requesting a lookup. The more information you can provide about the person(s) you are looking for the more likely you will get results.
