Comments: Ara Edmond Bradshaw along with his wife Amy came to Texas in 1909. They first settled in Georgetown, Williamsin Co., and had two more children there. In 1917 he moved his family to the Union Ridge area, he was a farmer and had over 180 acres of land. After all was said and done 52 acres of the land was left and it still belongs to the grandson of Ara.
