UPDATED: Thanks to Geraldine
Little Braswell & Sandy
Spann for completely transcribing & photographing the cemetery
Jan. 2009.
Thanks to Pam
Lain for the use of her reading of Simpsonville Cemetery!
Simpsonville Cemetery is located on HWY 556 about 11 miles SW of Pittsburg,
Tx in the very small town of Simpsonville, also known as Thomas. The
cemetery is located directly behind Simpsonville Baptist Church and
Simpsonville Church of Christ. The cemetery is very well maintained
and fenced. The new maintenance people have taken great pains
with the cemetery including digging up some sunken stones. There is one section which contains quite a
few pink marker looking stones.
