Caldwell, Blanche Gunn Feb 22, 1902 Oct 14, 1967 Per Ronald Wade -  Mrs. Blanche Ellen Gunn Monk Caldwell, the only person by this name I find in Upshur County appears to be born 22 Feb 1902 and died 14 Oct 1967 in Gilmer, Upshur Co., Tx., the daughter of David Gunn (1863-1918) and Lena G. Gunn (1872-1954)  She married Monroe Monk and their children included David L. Monk (22 Aug 1928-1998 Upshur Co., Tx.), Billy Monk born about 1929, Lenoa May Monk born about 1933, Janey Monk born about 1935, Monroe Monk born about 1937 and Lena Fay Monk born 1940.  Blanche is buried at the Gilmer City New Cemetery in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas.  In the Grice Cemetery in Western Upshur County Mrs. Caldwell's "Limb" is buried.  Why her "Limb" is buried separately is a mystery for now.  It's unknown now also who Mr. Caldwell was.
