B. C. Russell Services Held September 18, 1960 News Messenger News Service Daingerfield Funeral services for B. C. Russell, 75, well-known resident of Cason, were held Monday from the first Baptist Church of Cason. The Rev. Mr. Day officiated at services. Burial was in Blevins cemetery. Mr. Russell was born January 25, 1885. He was a retired farmer and a longtime member of the Baptist Church. He died Sunday in a Pittsburg hospital. Survivors are his widow Lillian Russell, Cason; three sons Cal Russell and Ray Russell both of Dallas, and Dwane Russell, Midland; two daughters Mrs. Mildred Dickenson, Dallas; Mrs. Luta Jones, San Francisco; two brothers, Claude Russell and Walter Russell, both of Cason; five sisters, Mrs. Ollie Harkrider, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Minnie White, Winnsboro; Mrs. Maud Thomas, Pittsburg; Mrs. Ola Fielder and Miss Bessie Russell, both of Cason, and five grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Morris Henderson, Carl Moursand, Ralph White, Ira Bicknell, Marvin Fox and John Staggers. Other nephews were honorary bearers.
