Terry M. Rule, 57, of Moount Vernon, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, in Tyler.

Services were held Thursday, May 3 at First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon with Bro. Pepper Puryear officiating. Interment was at Macon Cemetery under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.

Mr. Rule was born October 13, 1949 in Quanah, the son of Wilmer Rule and Desma Annette (Hale) Rule. He was a physical therapist for Jordon Health Service for 24 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Blakney) Rule of Mount Vernon. a son. Jeremy Rule of Mount Vernon; a daughter and son-in-law, Karli and Stuart Burt of Abilene/ three grandchildren, a sister; Gail Bright of Abilene; two aunts, Bobbie Nell Hale of Cookvile and JoAnn Rule of Mount Pleasant. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
