Shirley Ann Stutts Cofer, of Daingerfield, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in Mount Pleasant.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5 at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Mount Pleasant. She worked in the Daingerfield High School Cafeteria, Lone Star Steel and Pilgrim's Pride.

She is survived by her seven children, Don Cofer, Jr., of Florida, Susan Cofer Peterson of Utah, Daniel Cofer of Texas, David Cofer with the U.S. Army in Korea, Damon Cofer of West Virginia, Dane Cofer of Texas and Dean Cofer of Utah and 23 grandchildren.
