Ollie Ruth Guthrie Posey, 87, of Talco died Thursday, April 26, 2007 in Mount Pleasant.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 28 at Talco Cemetery with Bro. Larry Bilbo and Bro. Leon Goff officiating. Interment is under the direction of Bates-Cooper Sloan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guthrie was born March 8, 1920 in Cunningham, the daughter of Marion A. Posey and Mora Mae (Ferris) Posey. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Buford and Billy June Guthrie of Talco, four grandchildren, a sister Goldie Brown of Kirkland, NM and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Guthrie; two sons and one daughter; her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
