Nadine McClung Caldwell, 89, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 in Mount Pleasant.

Graveside service was held Saturday, May 5 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Bro. Tommy Burton officiating. 

Mrs. Caldwell was born July 4, 1917 in Roswell, NM the daughter of Robert McClung and Lucy (Burkham) McClung. She was a retired teacher. She held a masters degree in Elementary Education, English and Library Science.

Survived by a daughter, Gayla (Caldwell) Dodd of Mount Pleasant, granddaugher, Shana Dodd of Lewisville, grandson and spouse, Chad and Heather Dodd of Allen.

Preceded in death by grandson, Edrue Wayne Dodd, Jr., her parents; a sister, Irene McClung Johnson; and brother-in-law, Cecil Johnson
