Louise S. Stephens, 79, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Mount Pleasant.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at Edwards Cemetery under the direction of Tumey Mortuary.

Mrs. Stephens was born on July 15, 1927, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Walter and Pearl (Miller) Bolden. She was a member of First Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Elder Lyons.

She is survived by her son, Calvin Stephens of Mount Pleasant; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Stephens Booty and Donald Booty of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Donald of Detroit, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Stephens; a son, Gentle Lee Fleming Jr.; a daughter, Joyce Louise Craddock; a granddaughter, Geraldine Gipson; two grandsons, Jimmy Craddock and Alving Fleming and her parents.
